We crocheted 15 blankets for Blankets for the Gulf in 2005.  We donated 30 afghans to Big Bend Hospice in 2004. We donated 12 blankets to Catholic Charities in 2006.  Some of the blankets were made by joining donated squares from Tallahassee crocheters and knitters. Others were made completely by Tallahassee Crochet Club members.

Mariann's Circular Crocheted We Care Bag

The Tallahassee Crochet Club plans to crochet bags to give to shelters in Tallahassee who help and support battered and homeless women. We'll fill the bags with sample sizes of shampoo, soap, conditioners, deodorant, feminine hygiene supplies, etc. Often these women have to leave their homes in a hurry. We want to let them know we care and help them toward a new and better life. Want to help? Send us your samples to stuff the bags. We also take donations of variegated yarn, 4ply worsted-weight. Email tcrochetclub@yahoo.com for address.

We support our troops with crocheted hats for soldiers.

The Monticello First Methodist Church will help us distribute hats to the soldiers.  Click links below for free patterns:
